To go to a professional. The complications that can come from self piercing are far more expensive than just shelling out the bucks for a professional. Also, dont use alchohol, anti bacterial soaps or creams for healing.

Warm water and sea salt in the ratio of 1 tbs to 8 oz of water is what should be used to ward off infection and promote healing. Simply mix the water and salt, place in a cup, bend at the waist and place the cup over your piercing. Lay back and soak the piercing for at least 15 min 3 times a day to draw out any impurities and increase circulation to the area. It is personal preference on wether to rinse the area after soaking.

You go to a professional piercing place. Doing it yourself is bad news and you risk a much higher chance of infection by doing it yourself rather than getting it done proffesionally.

Go to a professional tattoo and piercing place and get it done than they will tell you what to use to clean it soit doesn't get infected

Your best bet would be to go to a piercing kiosk or tattoo/jewelry shop, but if you want to do it yourself(and risk a greater rate of infection) clamp the area you want to pierce, swab the area with rubbing alcohol, pierce the area completely through, put the closure on, and clean the wound with Neosporin. Keep it clean every day by swabbing it with either Neosporin or witch hazel(you can find it at most department stores.)
