No, not normally

could be dry skin. use a moisturiser after showering or bathing, and all thoughout the day.

What about it? You having an allergic reaction to something! I think it probably your brand of detergent that you clean your clothes with!

Maybe you are having an allergic reaction to your laundry soap or body wash. Or maybe yoru skin is really dry. when my skin gets really dry, it starts to itch. OR maybe you ate something or took something you are allergic to. If you want to know more, you should really talk to your doctor. Good luck to you!

Lightly dust yourself with baby powder.

I think Courtney's onto something.

Could be eczema, psoriasis, or thyroid problem. Best to see dermatologist. After bath, apply lotion on skin while damp. Cetaphi is good. Also, stay away from perfumed lotions. Try site below. I'd stay away from steroids.

there are several reasons why u can have toalt body itch either way u should go to your doctors
1 can be body lice that u may not see
2 can be scabies
3 dry skin
4dirty skin
5 alergic reation to body soap , laundry detergent , fabric softner lotion even clothes
6 even drugs or alchol be it prescibed , offer the counter or even illegal can cause this syptoms
7 all of the above no matter what go to your doctor they can scrap some of the skin and tell u what the most likely cause is adn even prescribe a medication for u .

Could be eczema or atopic dermatitis. If it persists seek out help from a dermatologist or an allergist. If it only happens after eating certain foods it may be related to the foods you eat or even dairy products. You can keep track of the food you eat and narrow it down if it gets more severe when you eat certain foods. If it's eczema they say it's genetic and no cure. If eczema, some recommend frequent showers/baths and some recommend infrequent baths ( go figure). You'll have to see which relieves the itching best. Elidel cream has been known to help. Also, Aveno flakes in your bath can alleviate some itching. A dermatologist can tell you right off what you have. Good luck.

Could be Derma Graphia.I have it, it's an over production of histamin. If you scratch do you get welts? I am taking allegra for it , seems to help but some days it drives me nuts. See an allergist or dermatologist.Good luck

That has happened to me before. It could be just dry skin but it is normally just because you don't drink enough water.

my balls sometimes itch.

Go to a search engine and type in "candida" it can make your whole body itch too.

I get that sometimes. it could be allergies, could be dry skin. or; if this body itch happends when you do EXTENSIVE excersise ie, run alot, lift alot of weights etc; you get this itch you cant explain thats because your brain is not recieving sufficient blood/oxygen (and/or) dont have enough water. you can try aspirin ie, bayer before a work out or drink more fluids (try gatoraide) during these activities. if its allergies try benadryl. which you dont need a prescryption for.

This could also be a result of some medications side effects. its fairly common in over have the drugs in use today

Use Cocoa Butter lotion for extreme dry skin and it will stop the itch . Other than that you may want to try Hydrocortisone.

Copy and paste the above! However,if you do not have a rash with the itch,I doubt it is Scabies. However,I have known quite a few people, who have had this condition! It is more common than some people may think!Anyhow,Hope you feel better soon! Also,Are you taking any medications? This 'itch' could also be a side effect!

if you have little red spots could be lice (bed lice) I had it happen when I changed my washing powder or my soap so try those to go to a skin specialist they will have the answer
