Dark circles under the eyes indicate a lack in the body, in my experience. A cover up may soften the symptoms but not replenish the lack.

I had good success with the Dinshah colors or/and
homeopathic Tissue Salts (biominerals). Here is a list for dark circles as I use it:

* Pouchy eyes may be the cause of shadows under the eyes. They need the Dinshah color Magenta or Natrium Muriaticum.

* Bluish dark circles speak of lack of Dinshah Blue and Ferrum Phosphoricum (iron). It may also indicate worms.

* Brownish circles indicate a lack of the Dinshah color Purple or Kalium Sulphuricum.

* Dark grayish circles show a lack of the Dinshah color Violet or Kalium Phosphoricum.

There are other colors around the eyes showing a lack, but these are lighter colors, not dark.
