Is there any support groups for the visually impaired or blind in the Pensacola area?

Question: I am visually impaired and 23 years old. I just want to talk to people who can understand what I am going through. So if anyone knows any support groups for the blind or visually impaired in Pensacola I would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you!

I would contact your ophthamologist or The Lions Club, one of them should be able to direct you to a support groups to meet your needs. My grampa used to volunteer with the Lions in the Lillian/ Elberta, AL area doing that kind of thing so it sound be the same in Pensacola. However, if neither of those turn up anything contact a school for the deaf and blind they will usually have support groups affliated with them.
