metabolism/?
my girlfriend just got ferinhiet, i think is what it is called, anyway. its a pill to boost your metabolism or something. i was wondering if it'll harm her, or even if maybe it'll screw up her metabolism?

It will do more harm than good. It is no more powerful than caffeine. It causes headaches. It also helps people develop bad habits. Frankly, she should get involved in a diet program through her physician and join a gym.

It shouldn't cause any problems. Unless your friend has a heart condition (high blood pressure, heart palpitations, etc.) or she is pregnant. Tell her to keep an eye out for the side effects listed on the label and to definitely stop taking it if she has them. Also if she is under the age of 18 she SHOULD NOT take the supplement. Depending on where she got that pill from. If it is from CVS or one of those healh-food stores, its prolly not that good for her. And there are health risks involved in taking any type of medication such as this. Heart attacks, strokes, etc. It can make her moody, make her anxious, and do all sorts of stuff like that. It will mess w/her metabolism, because it will probably speed up her heart rate, and make her want to jump up and down all day. i'd never f*ck with any pills because they're proven to have ill effects on the user but thats obvious. it's a pill that you swallow and makes you thinner, can't you see the problem with that. i don't wanna sh*t on all pill users, but in this case, i wouldn't touch it. think of all the lawsuit commercials they have about wrongful deaths due to these drugs.i gotta level with you, in all liklihood, your "friend" will be fine and lose a lot of weight, but know the chance that she's taking and be able to face the consequences if it doesn't go down the way she planned
