anyone have bells palsey?

I woke up with it a week and a half ago. Its affecting the left side of my face. My question is if you had it, did it hurt your eye all the time? My eye can't close or blink and it hurts so bad sometimes I just want to scream. How long did this last for you? Can you recommend anything to make it more bearable? I start spring term in a week so driving and alot of computer work is definately not something I can give up right now. Please let me know your experience with this.
