If you want to keep most of the thickness in your hair, you should go with a longer hair style because sometimes short hair can make your hair look and feel fuller, and I don't think that is what you want!

Do you have a phone book? Open it up to beauticians or beauty salons and make an appointment! Better yet, ask around to see where your friends and other people go to get there hair done. A person or place that gets lots of recommendations should be a good place to go. Since I have thick hair, too, I will tell you that I have my beautician thin my hair as well as layer it. This normally gets me by from visit to visit.

If you can't afford to get your hair done, wear a hat! My aunt wore a hat to thin out her hair. When it got thin enough she put the hat away.
