Actually, there is not right or wrong way to go on this one. With the acception of a white shoe (they tend to make your feet look huge), you can wear just about anything!
The question you want to ask yourself is "where am I wearing this dress?" If it is to the office, I would try a nude or camel shoe. They will elongate your legs. If it for a night out on the town, be bold and festive. Try pink or purple (a really hot color this season). If you are wearing the dress to a formal event and want a little color,try a red shoe, to add a little more sophistication. You can always play it safe and wear black, and that is what I would do if it were for a funeral. Finally, if I were wearing the dress to a wedding, I would add a soft color like a rose or champagne to add a little romance.

Definatley Strappy Black Heels! But you could also try those new heels that snake up the back.I would say strappy black heels or pumps. Too low of a heel may take away from the outfit so wear as high as ones you are comfty in at least 3" or so.
This time of year, i would suggst black knee high boots as well. you cant go wrong with a stilleto hel and pinty toe in this combination.

It goes w/o saying that if you'll be wearing it in cold weather you'll want closed-toe shoes.I'd suggest either tights and a D'orsay shoe, or if you want to funk it up a bit.tall knee high boots w/a slimmer heel (not necessarily stiletto.those things hurt!)
If the occasion is going to be warm weather, then expose those toes w/a fabulous pedicure and slingbacks.I'd advise not going w/straps that wrap around your ankle, as that will shorten your legs. (Well, unless u have long gams!) ;)
