Does anyone know anything about recurrent mononucleosis?

what is something quick and healthy i can have for breakfast everymorning besides yogurt or fruit?

Answers:
Yes the first answer is a true one. It can be better described as Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome, where you body never really gets over a previous attack such as Epstein Barr.
Best thing is to take good rest, and you could try the natural anti-virals, such as elderberry extract, or oregano. Both have proven anti-viral capability.

Good rest, a light workout schedule, and good nutrition is all you can do. A positive outlook is helpful. Do NOT get depressed over it, as it will wear you down more, dwelling on it.

Stay strong of mind, and keep fighting it. Good luck

I have heard that recurring mononucleosis is also referred to as epstein barr disease. Epstein Barr causes relapses of mono if you allow your body to become warn down.

help?!? is this what i think it is?

my son has chronic mononucleosis (EBV). It runs its course, becoming active, not so inactive, not inactive and then starts all over again.
He has been on a veg diet only but allows milk products.
I worry about that because he is only 15. However, the doctor assures me that is fine if he gets an efficient amount of no soy product proteins (nuts).
my son was diagnosed with it after finding his white cell count was sky high about two weeks after being innoculated with the chicken pox vaccine and hepatitis b vaccine.
however, the cause is problable the chicken pox vaccine because he had already had the naturally occuring kind and the vaccine overloaded his system.
the connection is simple.chicken pox is in the same family as ebv..
anyway. rest when you can, get efficient amount of sun exsposure (without sunscreen) as vitaimin d could also be a culprit in the sluggishness. (lack of D could mean depression issues).
so far, no treatment available, but i was curious if you've ever been tested for hepatitis c which is alos another form of the Flavi-virus family that chicken pox and EBV reside.
if not, get tested for HCV regardless if you have risk factors or not.
good luck to you! it is a hard disease to deal with at times!
