how do i apply eyeliner?

i ahve trouble putting the eyeliner on the top of my eyelid?
could i have some tips on doing this.

Answers:
For the top or your eyelid, close the eye that you are applying it to, and keep the other open to see. Put the pencil *as close to your lash line as you possibly can*. It looks best when it just fades out towards the middle of the eyelid. To do this easily, get a liner pencil that has the pencil on one end and a smudger on the other end. Create a clear line that does almost to the middle, and use the smudger to just gently make a soft line that goes to the middle or just past. I'd reccomend Cover Girl's eyeliner pencils for this, because they all have the sumdger on them.

You want to put the eyeliner on after you apply shadow, but before you apply mascara.

well, best bet, do it yourself. Look in the mirror, pull down on your bottom eyelid to give yourself room to work with out poking yourself in the eye. lol Trust yourself. And then take the liner and apply it by gently just under the flat part of your eyelid. Some people put it on the flat part of the eye but that part of your eye tends to tear a lot and the eye liner will wear up or smudge quicker.

u would want to hold it a bit away from ur eye so u dont poke urself, keep the eye u r doing closed and the other one open, gently run the pencil around the bottom and and rub it a liitle bit above the top part of ur eye and then do the other one
if u want to wear eyeshadow or mascara with it, make sure u put the eyeshadow be4 the eyeliner and the mascara after the eyeliner
also dont smudge the eyeliner , it isnt gud 4 ur eyes and remember to keep the pencil a bit away from ur eyes
