I'm from new orleans and i have moved to a new town, I also have braces will another doctor see me?

Question:
my braces are falling apart I need to see a doctor but my doctors office closed down because of the hurricane. what can I do to get dential assistance. I have insurance with my job, will a regular dentist give me orthodontic treatment?

Answers:
So sorry to hear you had to move after the hurricane. We're still cleaning up from Katrina and Wilma here in South Florida!

Call the insurance company you have insurance through and ask if orthodontists are covered under your plan. Most insurance companies also have websites where you can search to see what medical practioners are in your network.

Dentists and orthodontists offer two seperate services, so a regular dentist will probably not be able to do anything for your braces.

If your braces are falling apart, and orthodontist may just remove what is on there and start from scratch, especially if your files cannot be retrieved from your last orthodontist.

Other Answers:
Perhaps, I would just call one and explain it to the receptionist. she should be able to help you.

Hay girlfriend; I am in a wheel chair and on oxygen, I have been from one doctor to another, Like I tell them I just think of it as a little inconvenience, so don't let your braces get you down for wanting to see another doctor, most don't care as long as you are able to tell them what is wrong with you so they can help you.
