Go to the Doctor. He'll probably tell you to take Mucinex to dry out your sinuses and an antibiotic to kill the infection. I bet you have a mild to severe sinus infection and that leaked into your middle ear. If you leave that juice in there, you can kiss your hearing goodbye. Don't mess around. Go to the Doc!

Some people find Pinching the nose and blowing helps. You risk more overpressure as the E-Tube can run like a check valve and keep the extra pressure that does get in, trapped.
I once had my right ear clogged for 12 days after a flight. Then as I was eating dinner my right ear opened up! YES! But then in less that a minute it clogged up again. But then in a few minutes it opened back up! YES!
Nah u wont die from that..lol..I have the same problem right now and none of it is helping me..I tryed swolling and blocking my nose but nothing is helping me..I guess its gonna come in its own time.
Yep, dying would surely, definitely cure you. But joking aside, have you tried yawning? Yawning does clear up clogged ears. Either forced or natural. Other help would be to chew gum during flight especially while the plane is landing. Try these, they may help. If not, try visiting one of your ear doctors for consultation.
