Health Care in German Culture?
What was the german health care like?
my doc just called and my white blood cell count is low.?
Answers:
The health care system is pretty good. Everybody has insurance and everybody with a job has to pay for it. It covers all doctor visits, I think there is a small quarterly copay of 10 euros or something like that. There is also a copay for prescriptions. But everything else is covered, including all necessary surgeries. I have never heard of anybody who has trouble with their insurance company and I have lived in Germany for many years. Doctors and hospitals and rehabs are good. The insurance also includes dental and vision for everybody.
