what exercise can give me a firmer butt and slimmer thighs?

Question:
squats, stepping machines and cross trainers all tend to make my thighs bulk up which i dont want

Answers:
just simple power-walking will help both.try suave firming lotion too for the thighs. for the butt: lie on your belly, bend your knees so that they're perpendicular to your thighs, lift the thigh on one side, do this alternately w/ the thighs, do not sqz butt cheeks too hard during the first two weeks of doing this or else sore muscles. leg lunges work wonders when you can really do them with endurance and routinely.

Other Answers:
pilates and yoga combined with rollerblading!

try doing squats but with your legs quite close together as that will help them not to bulk up too much. also try an exercise by kneeling on all fours and lifting your leg up at a right angle behind you, lifting from the knee. it's great for your butt!!

Running ( a slow trot ) I would also have said squats with no weight and many reps, but I see you have no luck w/ those. Try the hamstring curl or the reverse leg curl light weight, many reps.

Pilate's are good and if you like exercising to tapes you could get a Richard Simmons tape and Tybo is good to

people i know have used these methods and it worked and i know a health physician who worked out to ritchard simons and tybo tapes and she looks great

A great way to slim thighs is power walking. Great for firming that backside. Try anything with a slope. The other thing is stadiums. They are great. They produce great definition and really work the rear and thighs. The other thing. Water aerobics concentrating on legs. GREAT workout too.
