The best way is to get on a steady exercise plan and stay away from high fat content foods and cut back on eating a little bit as well, but dont starve yourself. Good diet and exercise is the key.

I try avoiding fast food and junk food (except Dew) as much as possible, I don't take seconds, even if I'm still hungry. To get that full feeling I fill up with 2% or skim milk. I stop eating when I'm full, I don't sit watching T.V., and I try to take a daily walk. I don't eat the skin of the chicken (even if it is way good), I don't eat the fat off a pork chop, I use x-tra lean hamburger, I drink lots of water. I try to keep as busy as possible and I don't eat before bedtime unless it's fruit or something. I know what it's like to be overweight and I don't want to go there again. G-Luck.
To be overweight, you would have to be consuming more calories than you are burning. Eat healthy, drink plenty of fluids that are low on sugars and have no aspartame, eat plenty of healthy foods and of course, maintain an active and very physical lifestyle!
