You may not think you have an injury but you just might. Stairs pose problems that you dont realize could happen. If you are overweight, that could have a lot to do w/ it as well. You could have a green fracture or pulled muscles or any number of other things. The best thing to do would be have it checked by a doctor to make sure its nothing major. Its better to be safe than sorry.
