I daydreamed a lot when I was younger. I still do, but no where near as much. You need to be interested in your surroundings. You may be a little bored with work or school so your brain takes a trip. Pick a more interesting class or job. Read books to keep your imagination happy. Perhaps, you should try writing down some of your daydreams during your free time. Maybe you are a writer.

I think like me you just have a low attention span which means you get bored very easily with everyday mundane activity's,try crosswords or puzzles, try inventing or do something different. Sometimes it can take a lifetime to find out what it is that ticks all of you`r boxes.STOP DREAMING, START DOING SOMETHING, HE HE HE!
don't stop daydreaming.this a good thing.this is where you will get ideas from.why not start a journal and jot down or write down what you have been daydreaming about.that way you can keep a record and keep track of what going on in your mind.by the way, daydreaming is good as long as it does not get in the way of your work or bother other people.

Daydreaming is alright so long you do not overdo it. Hate your living environment and make a list of things that you can do to make it better. Execute the to do list with perseverance. Trust me, you will not have the time to daydream!Why dont the doctors tell me the truth about my health?
Daydreaming is not, in itself, a bad thing. It can be an good outlet for emotions or an interesting way to learn things about yourself. It's key for lots of creative people. It only becomes a problem if you're making it a substitute for life or it's become a crutch. You could be suffering from depression and trying to disassociate yourself from the things that bother you. This could be solved by finding out what that is and changing it, or you may need some sort of medication to snap you out of it. Do you have any other symptoms of depression? You could also just be bored or feel unchallenged, or you might even have mild ADHD, if you have a lot of trouble concentrating.Bottom line--is your daydreaming having a negative effect on your life in some way? Is it making you more isolated, or do you feel you might be using it as a way of avoiding something? Are your thoughts obsessive in any way? Do you feel you're spending more and more time in a sort of fantasy world to the detriment of your real life? Keep track of when you're tempted to daydream and what those thoughts are about, and think about anything that could be causing them. If you have trouble concentrating in general, be sure to note that as well. If after some reflection you really feel that you have a problem, I would suggest seeing a therapist or at least your family physician. There could be something causing this.
If it's not causing any major disruptions in your life, then I suggest taking stock of your situation and seeing what if anything could be leaving you unsatisfied and try to make some changes accordingly. Best of luck.
