IS there a connection from the hip to knee pain?
I started having pain in my right hip a few days ago. It was really aching & clicking with every move, now it has moved down to my knee.
I need a quick and effective diet plan that has been tried and tested and works?
Answers:
We usually 'change our postures' when we have a pain in our bodies.. and then the 'pain travels' to other areas - either up or down. Please see your doctor to find out how you hurt your hip. GL!

How can I tell if my symptoms are from hypothyroidism or menopause?
Sounds like you probably have osteoarthritis. The cartiledge begins to ware away leaving bone against bone.the best thing to do is to see your Doctor..Your shoes or walking could throw your body out of alignment causing the knee to not be in aligmnet causing the ligament to slide out of the groove that sits in the knee. Also, called runner's knee. You might try a knee ace bandage to help support the knee. You might also want to check into arch supports. If you walk on the outsides or insides of your feet this will also throw off your stide and your alignment. Hope this helps.

Yep, there is a connection. You say you walk a lot and quickly all day. You may not have the right support from your shoes. Your gate when you walk may be thrown off do to your hips and knees not being aligned. Be sure you have good supporting shoe. Try a running shoe. I also agree with another answerer. When you are in pain on one side of your body, you unconsciously compensate for it on the other. When you are rushed and you feel pain coming on, slow down and think about the way you are walking. Are you leaning towards one side? It wouldn't hurt to check with your doctor or chiropractor. Anytime you change jobs and activity levels, your body needs time to adjust. Popping and clicking is your bodys way of telling you to take it easy(if at all possible). Hope you feel better!More Questions and Answers
