Does taking emergency contraception typically delay your period?

Question:
Wondering if anyone has had experience with this, especially when E.C. is taken very close to when your menstrual cycle is supposed to start (i.e. less than 5 days).

Answers:
"Postinor-2 may change your pattern of menstrual bleeding; although most women will have their next period at the normal time, some will have a later, or earlier than normal period. There may also be some irregular vaginal bleeding or spotting until your next period"

Other Answers:
Yes, I had Postinor2 three time in 2 years and it always had side effects, including delay of my menstruation, but hey, at least I'm not a mommy. This will eventualy come to normal. Keep in mind that Postinor 2 is very similar to a hormonal bomb. It has such a high level of hormones that it tricks the body to eliminate the egg.
You'd better read the prospect more carefully and find out exactly what its side effects are.
