Answers:
There are many thing I would go to a doctor it could be
Gastritis. Alcohol, medications including NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) -- such as aspirin, Motrin, Aleve, or ibuprofen and many others can cause stomach ulcers or inflammation (gastritis).
Stomach ulcers and intestinal ulcers. Ulcers in the stomach may enlarge and erode through a blood vessel, causing bleeding. Aside from medication, the most common cause of a stomach ulcer is an infection with bacteria called Helicobacter pylori. Also, patients suffering from burns, shock, head injuries or cancer, as well as those who have undergone extensive surgery, may develop stress-related stomach ulcers. Intestinal ulcers are believed to be caused by excess stomach acid and infection with Helicobacter pylori.
Cancer of the stomach.
Bleeding from the lower digestive tract (colon, rectum and anus) can be caused by:

Hemorrhoids. These are probably the most common cause of visible blood in the lower digestive tract, especially blood that appears bright red. Hemorrhoids are enlarged veins in the anal area that can rupture and produce bright red blood, which can show up in the toilet or on toilet paper.
Anal fissures. Tears in the lining of the anus can also cause bleeding.
Colon polyps. These are growths that can occur in the colon. They can be the precursor of cancer and may cause bleeding.
Colorectal cancer.
Intestinal infections. Inflammation and bloody diarrhea can result from intestinal infections.
Ulcerative colitis. Inflammation and extensive surface bleeding from tiny ulcerations can be the reason for blood showing up in the stool.
Crohn's disease. This condition can result in spotty bleeding.
Diverticular disease. Caused by diverticula -- outpouchings of the colon wall -- can result in massive bleeding.
Blood vessel abnormalities. As one gets older, abnormalities may develop in the blood vessels of the large intestine, which may result in recurrent bleeding.

Depends on amt of blood and color. If it's a small amt of bright red blood probably hemorrhoids. Large amt. of bright red blood see Dr. could be Gastritis. If the blood is burgundy in color could mean bleeding higher in the Gastro-Intestinal tract. See a Dr. Hemorrhoids are frequently caused by constipation, childbirth, etc. If it is hemorrhoids change diet or start a stool softener everyday.

Good Luck:)

what causes dripping nose in elderly people?

My daughter did have a little bellding from her ***. Everyones answer here COULD be correct but I found that my daughter just had slightly larger bowel movements than normal. If you give them 1 teaspoon of mineral oil in a glass of orange juice (or milk, or whatever) every day for about 2 months it will not give them the runs but help soften the stool to where the bleeding will not be there. If it is still there after this they really need to see a G.I. soecialist.

If you are talking about your period and you mean that the pad or tampon isn't containing the blood, then use a larger tampon or pad.

What I use to do (I could not go any more than 2 hours without having to change) is drink cinnamon tea. It slows the flow (excuse the rhyme). You can buy cinnamon tea at any grocery store. Apple Cinnamon was my favorite. Any kind as long as the first or second ingredient is Cinnamon.
