Yes it can. Sit up straight.

yes back problems eye problems head problems try getting one of those massage pads that fit the whole chair they usually carry them at staples and if that not what you want try getting a better chair that will support your body but the massage chair pad will do wonders believe me when I tell you cant go wrong there not at all

try to do a few stretches in between time of restlessness or when needed

It might be the chair your sitting in at work. If it is not a comfy chair get it changed ASAP and it should help get your back out of pain.

Yes, sitting at a desk is killer on the neck, shoulders, and back. Don't be afraid to recline in your chair a few times a day. It may look like you're slouching, but it's essential for good work production.

yes it can! i have piriformis syndrome because i have to sit down and drive a lot. go see the osteopath

yes. cos too much weight has been exerted on ur spine (particularly the lower spine) for too long. causes back pain so it'll be good to put a cushion at ur lower back to support the spine.

If your chair is wobly or not level.

It might, becasue I sit at a desk at work all day long, and my back just started hurting too. I had never had back problems before

yes if u slouch soo sit up straight like you just dont care!
also you may start to put on weight because your not burning any thing off from lunch ect. . . so try desk exersizes like pushing your arms away to tone your muscles up or try slouching then sitting up to exersize your b elly muscles! Good luck in your job that u do!!

Yes - most people do not use proper body mechanics while doing everything, including sitting in a chair. To avoid problems with your muscles and spine, you need to maintain proper spinal curvature. This means keeping your torso up, rather than slouching or leaning back in the chair. In addition, if your keyboard placement, desk & chair height, and monitor set up are not good, your body has to compensate in posture to use them. When muscles have to bear the body's weight (being outside of proper posture) they will fatigue and hurt. Besides fixing your set up, getting up and stretching will help.

every now and then stretch and walk around little when you start getting uncomfortable.
