But if you have regular paps, and know you've had a lot of stress in your life and think its just a one time thing, you should be fine just calling your doctor or pharmacist.

Tell your doctor you really don't want to wait. Either because it will make the period more painful and heavier when it comes, or because you want to make sure you are protected against pregnancy and feel safer if you could take the pill.
