I want to gain weight; I know sound surprising! How I can do that in short period of time?

Load up on weight gaining protien shakes and lift weights to add muscle. You want to gain muscle, not fat. your local health food store should have a shake mix that would be appropriate.

Try to eat 3 meals a day, and drink ensure PLUS shakes between meals, they have 350 calories, are good for you and taste great. Wal-Mart has a generic that's the same thing, it worked for me!! Good luck.

Buy some weight gain powder at a health food store such as GNC. You can drink 1 or 2 a day between meals. They have tons of calories, but also have alot of protein and vitamins, so they aren't as bad for you as eating alot of junk food.

It's not healthy to gain or lose weight quickly. But anywho, eat late at night. That one works very well.

First of all, decide whether you want to gain Muscle weight, or Fat weight, cuz it is NOT possible to gain both at the same time, contrary to what most people beleive. To gain FAT-WEIGHT, eat alot of sugar, not fat, since sugar gets converted into fat - also, cut down excercising.. <- However, this is a bad idea, since you can get SERIOUSLY addicted to sugar.
To gain MUSCLE-WEIGHT, eat FIBER and PROTEINE, while excercising 3-4 hours aday.. Make it 2 hrs of running, and then stimulate your other muscles from other excersises. <- This is better, but takes longer time - allthough, i would choose this if i were you

I think you mean 1.75m, or you're REALLY short.

Overeat for a couple of weeks, with some exercise so it doesn't all turn into fat.

Like others said u must have more protien.But u go for a long walk or do cycling everyday so that u build the lean muscle tissues.

beside supplements , d best natural way is , eatin boiled potatoes mixed wid curd, n dont forget to have a big glass of banana milkshake!! if u eat Eggs , put some eggs in d shake too,u wont like it , but u ll develop d taste!!

Gaining weight just like loosing it means a change of your life.
But weightlifting and chocolate are the best known.
Better talk to a registered exercise person and a nutritionist.
You need more input that someone on Yahoo can give you if you are serious.

Flah don't get discouraged by some of these A-holes on here. Some people just have higher metabolism (sp??) rates then other people. Yes you need to eat more but it isn't that simple. Try working out your major muscle parts (chest, shoulders/back, and you legs). Doing so will gain you more weight then just something like arms. Try drinking protein shakes. They are cheap to make and have alot of protein (needed to gain muscle) and alot of calories. Plus they won't make you as sore in the next day after a workout (drink it during/after a workout). I know its hard but screw what other people think. I can bench more then probably 90% of people that weight 40 lbs more then me but people just see people like us that are "skinny" and make jokes. It's funny how people can get away with calling guys "scrawny" but people throw s**t fit when you call someone fat..
