Stress can do some weird things with the cycle. Also heavy exercising (serious athletes). How about diet? Since you are not ovulating, you are not producing any progesterone and are estrogen dominant according to Jesse Hanley, MD in What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About PreMenopause. John Lee MD. Also please read page 67 " Progesterone.has been approved by the FDA for treating amenorrhea (lack of menstruation)." Do not take synthetic version and creams are better than oral. A problem might be not only in your ovaries, but also in your pituitary gland, which secretes gonadotropins - hormones, that stimulate ovaries. My friend was missing her period for 6 months and that exactly was the problem. Her doctor prescribed certain hormones, which restored the balance and she was back on track!
it might not b too serious, it could be a thyroid problem, have you lost a lot of weight or put it on recently. i'd ask your doctor if this could be a possibility
How do you know no signs of cancer? Have CA125 to rule out cervical cancer. Keep going to doctors. You didn't say how old you are, but I went thru menopause at 48.
