Are you on any kind of medications? Some will make your gums inflamed. If not, then it depends on the area of bleeding. If it is in the lower front and upper first molar area you may just need a deep cleaning. If it is general and all bleed and you aren't taking any meds it could be from improper nutrition. Are you a candy and soda user? Do you eat healthy foods? Do you get proper sleep? If not, start. Your dentist can tell you for sure what the problem is by looking in your mouth and asking you a few questions.
Go see him, healthy gums never bleed. Oh, and you may want to invest in a water pik, they are great and can keep the gums between your teeth clean and stimulated. Floss once a day too.
Other Answers:
you may have gingivitis. Go see your dentist if you are really concerned about it.
You may have gingivitis and should probably see a dentist pronto.
See a dentist.
I bleed sometimes, but you might have a gum disease.
No you shouldn't be bleeding at all. You need to go see a dentist. Maybe you have problems with your gums.
No. Get to a dentist.
floss your teeth more often
You have gum problems.See a dentist NOW.
Maybe you need to brush more and on a regular basis.
you could simply be brushing too hard or need a new brush. it is also a sign of gum disease so if it continues i would go to a dentist
i would say you may have gum disease
YOu have week gums, if they start to bleed, go lightly and make sure to floss, they are going to bleed alot but over time it will die down
Chances are you have a gum disease or you are using a toothbrush that is far too hard for your gums. Ask your dentist.
It is because you push the brush bristles so hard that your gums bleed. Try using a soft bristle toothbrush
No, your gums and teeth are NOT supposed to bleed. Sounds like you have periodontal disease (aka, "the gum disease gingivitis"). You need to make an appointment with your dentist immediately, he will refer you to a specialist. You will lose all your teeth if you ignore this problem.
This is not normal. I agree with previous respondents about gingivitis. I would see a dentist as soon as possible.
Sometimes it's just because the bristles on the brush are too hard, some people are more sensitive than others. It could also be a minor infection, which you should have a dentist look at. He might also say that you have gingivitis.
maybe you have agum disease. do you brush your teeth everyday like you're supposed to? or it could be b/c you dont floss?
do you floss? does your tooth brush have soft bristles?? if your not sure or if it doesn't go buy a new one with soft bristles, and make sure your brushing with a soft to medium pressure, also if you don't floss you will need to start, you might have gingivitis so that is reversible which is good but you will need to floss twice a day and then right after rinse your mouth with a rinse like Listerine or crest pro health (depending on if you like a burn or not)if it doesn't improve in 2 weeks go to the dentist, but i would suggest going to the dentist earlier because it sounds a little more serious than gingivitis and if you have periodontal disease you will want to stall it quickly unless you want to lose most of your teeth and surrounding tissues, and that is NOT reversible!! go to your dentist.

Gum disease, you need to go to a dentist and have your teeth cleaned. You also need to start flossing on a regular basis. You may need an antibiotic to help with the infection. Bleeding gums are an instant sign of infection and you don't want an infection in the head and neck area. Go see the doctor.
