Has anyone tried meal replacement shakes for weight loss with long term success?

I have kept my weight off for over a year. Just be careful on what kind of meal replacement shakes you do. Some are high in things that you don't need.

check the label, they tend to be high in sodium, thats not good. there are better ways to lose weight. long term success will take a little effort on your part
basically they are meant to have the nutrients that you would get in a proper healthy meal and then they recommend you do a **** load of excercise.when i tried this diet I felt like i skipped a meal so i'd eat extra for my next meal to make up for it (mind games).SO why not just make your own healthy & TASTY meal, not feeling like your sucking your meal up thru a straw and do at least 30-60mins walking a day. beleive me this method works!!
In my experience, meal replacement shakes only work if you don't mind being hungry 30 minutes after you eat one! :)
