is it possible to drop cholesterol from 236 back to normal in one month?
Question:
Answers:
what for? cholesterol control is necessary to lessen long-term risk of cardiovascular disease. normalizing cholesterol from 236 in one month compared to 3 or 6 makes no significant difference, probably unless you are already a very high risk patient (recent heart attack or stroke) in which case you should be very aggressive in lipid control.
Other Answers:
Definately it is possible but under strict medical supervision.
yes it is. Didi you fast before them eating can falsely elevate cholesterol tests.
Lipitor did it for me. does not help good colesterol
My father swears by cranberry juice. He has a reguarly scheduled dr appointment every month. He went in for the appt and the Dr told him his cholesterol was 250. He did not give him any meds. He told him to work on his diet. He did not change his diet, I know my parents live with us.
My mom had a UTI and she was drinking cranberry. he started drinking it too and liked it so he kept it. Next appointment cholesterol was 201. He told me what happened and I was skeptical "yea right" but for the last 3 months it is still down and you can't convince him the cranberry did not do it.
That is my 2 cents, will it work, I don't know but it is asuggestion.
Good Luck
