prescriptions med's / dates?
Question:
Does anyone know how long a prescription is good for? i.e- If I was written a prescription in november of last year how long does it stay valid to be able to be filled?
Answers:
90 days.
Other Answers:
I think you only get 30 days. An Rx from November is not valid. You need to call your doc and have them re-write your prescription.

Most prescriptions are good anywhere from 1 - 3 months, but it may depend on what state you live in. You can call your Doctor & ask, just to be on the safe side. Or, the pharmacy where you get them filled may know, as well.
I was pretty sure it's 12 months-thats in Australia though
