What therapy did you do after hip surgery?

I am having surgery this June.

My fiance's grandmother just had hip replacement surgery 4 months ago. She saw a physical therapist twice a week for 6 weeks and she is already playing tennis again! I'm sure the recovery time varies per person, but if you follow the directions given by your doctor, you should be actively mobile within 6 weeks of your surgery. Good luck!
