Has anyone had hynotherapy to improve motivation and/or get rid of insomnia?

No, but 5-element acupuncture has done wonders for my insomnia. Usually after one session for me.

I haven't had hydrotherapy for insomnia, but I have been trained in hydrotherapy and am licensed to practice it.
Hydrotherapy would be an effective therapy for the simple fact that it relaxes you intensely if done right.
What I would recommend in addition is exercise for insomnia. If you can reach your maximum heart rate for ten minutes every day, and work up to holding max heart rate for twenty minutes each day, you will sleep like a baby at night. You might even have to buy yourself a night light.
I had it for motivation and it didnt have any effect, only went to one session though. And lack of motivation is often caused by a complex combination of deep seeded reasons unique to each person, so I would imagine it would take a lot of work to achieve the results you want.
