Should I get my beautymark removed? HELP please?

hey, i have this problem, i need your help. i went to the doctor today cuz, sleepy as i was this morning, i touched a beautymark with my nail and it started bleeding. all the doctors told me it needs to be removed or i might have problems later. so i'm really scared and i don't know what to do, though some told me it's not painful at all and that i'm not gonna feel a thing. i'm really scared, i don't know what to do. :(
