I do not know. None that I can figure out. I had my thyroid removed 22 yrs ago & do not sing better or sound different.

I suppose if you had a swollen thyroid gland it would affect your voice.
Laryngeal nerve which is responsible for the movement of the vocal cords which are responsible for talking by your voice,,, this nervr is laying on your thyroid gland,,, so if it is enlarged or damaged ,, it may affect this nerve causing troubles in talking and voice
