I have had it, its like fluid in the lungs. You need a prescription antibiotic.

You need antibiotics to get rid of bronchitis before it turns into pneumonia. Get to the doctor.

you must lighten up your diet.I have much experience with this problem.
1.stop eating starchy foods, ie. potatoes, rice, cereals, pasta, bananas.(you will notice if you eat those foods, you will soon begin to cough again)
2.stick to raw fruits and vegetables as much as possible (these create the least amount of mucous since they are easier to digest)
3.if you must, eat your meat with a raw salad
4.the less you eat, the better.and the more you stick to just fruits (grapes, watermelon, cantaloupe, tomatoes..)the better you will feel
5.cough as deeply as possible to get out the mucous (avoid medications that will inhibit the process)
6.breathe outside air and get some sun!
7.be amazed at how well your body works when you let it
