There are curling shampoos, mousse, and gels. I have naturally wavy hair and I use the curling mousse. After a shower, I towel dry and apply the mousse. I then scrunch my hair and allow to dry naturally. My grandma uses the curling shampoo and she says it makes her hair really curly.

I french braid mine when its wet and put mousse and hairspray on it. Leave it to dry and then it comes out wavy.
