I have noticed that on a few friends. Is it something generalized?

If you mean areola.A small ring of color around a center portion, as about the nipple of the breast..I don't, and neither do any of the women in my family. Some people are less hairy than others. Just as some men don't have hair on their chests.

Well I wasn't sure what an "aureola" was so I checked at dictionary.com and this is what I got: A circle of light or radiance surrounding the head or body of a representation of a deity or holy person. So..I'm unsure how to answer your question because I doubt you are discussing the Pope or Holy Ghost or something. LOL

I don't and I've never seen it
