Does Canada has an agency similar to the FDA in the USA?

if so, Health Canada would be the same as that.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Health Canada both handle a lot of the same things as the FDA in the US

Health Canada handles a lot of the Drug regulations while the CFIA handle more of the food, plant and animal products.
