Edit: Juliart, thanks for the correction on the prevalence of coprolalia. My "comedy" answer was in response to a "comedy" question, and based on the only person I've ever known with Tourette's, who did swear alot and did use his condition as an excuse.

The condition might not be funny, but the effect often is. But that's no excuse, so I've removed my original comment.

The word coprolalia is pretty funny though, given its etymology.
