Getting pregnant after birth control pills?
Question:
I've been on the pill for 10 years. Now I am married and we want to get pregnant.I stopped taking the pill 4 months ago.My cycles were normal up to this past month.I had irregular periods before I began taking birth control. Will this be the case now? Will this complicate concieving?
Answers:
well you've been taking the pill for so long your body is bound to change, you ll have some changes in your mood and with your weight and because your system is so used to "controlling birth" it will probably reject it at first so yous should just keep trying!!
Other Answers:
Yes, being on the pill for so long can complicate getting pregnant later on. I suggest going to a doctor and making sure that you're not sterile. I have known women who have gone sterile from being on the pill for a long time. Go to your doctor and have everything checked out. S/he should be able to let you know what you're options are. God Bless!
