what does it mean to test positive for antibodies when you are pregnant?
Question:
Answers:
Which antibodies are you talking about?
Probably anti-Rh+. If you are Rh- and are positive for antibodies against Rh, your baby's red blood cells may be destroyed after being born if he/she is Rh+. Therefore, your doctor tested you for antobodies and now, knowing that you have them, necessary precautions will be taken during delivery to ensure that your baby is ok. They might need to inject your baby with a special serum neutralizing these antibodies, and then she/he will be fine.
