When the doctor fits your eyes for contacts, what is used and will it have to touch my eye?
Question:
Answers:
The doctor will put what's called a trial contact lens on your eye (or he/she will have you put it on yourself). These lenses are just like regular contacts and you'll often be able to wear them home. The doctor will then look at your eyes with a big microscope to see how the lenses fit. The only thing that will touch your eye is the contact itself.

when i got contacts, my eyes weren't fitted.i was just given a pair of contacts and a mirror and i had to practice putting them on in front of the doctor. sometimes i am given two different brands and i get to decide which one is most comfortable. you just have to try the actual contacts.
