Not everybody runs at 98.6. It's normal to vary from that degree. You can be higher or lower. 98.6 is just an average. I run about 97.2. So at 98.6, I would actually be running a fever for me.

my temperature usually falls below normal too. I think that is the normal temperature for me. It doesn't mean anything, just that you aren't holding heat.

My mom is about 96 and I run almost 97. My daughter is around 97 also, so I know if it says 98.6 It's a fever. I think they just have to have a standard. Everyone is different for everything, Like menstral cycles being "28 days". HA! for me it's more like 31.
