Could human hair extensions harm my own hair permanently?

Question:

I have very fine scandinavian hair and to keep it better looking I´ve chosen to keep extensions (Great Lenghts)and change them every 6 months (I´ve done it already 3 times). Though they say it doesn´t harm my own hair, I´ve noticed that it´s getting thinner and thinner every time.are there any other options less agressive, but equally good looking?

I dont tink they can harm your hair permanently,they may 4 a particular period.But i tink they are ok.

A girl in my class had them put in.they messed her hair up & had to remove them. She said thet ripped half her hair out.doen't sound like a good time to me!

i guess it depends on what kind of extentions you get.

hair cutting is not the solution for hair falling,first u have to eat well that is u hve to take diet food&u should be in the position that which give stress to ur mind.weekly once u keep a hair pack which is mixture of curd,lemon,mehandhi,tea dicursion&menthi powder.so that it will give energy&live to ur hair.
