sytmptoms of hiv?
Question:
Answers:
For the most part, there are none. Some people may experience flu-like symptoms, but most will not have any problems. Being HIV positive does not mean you have AIDS. The AIDS disease occurs much later once the immune system has been considerably weakened. If you are concerned, get tested. Testing is the only way to know if you are HIV positive.
The CDC National AIDS Hotline can answer questions about testing and can refer you to testing sites in your area. Many centers offer free and confidential testing. The Hotline number is 1-800-342-2437.
