how do you reduce your high copper levels?
Question:
Answers:
Please consult your doctor, but the short answer is that you use certain medications to chelate the copper within your system.
I am assuming you have Wilson's Dz. The best way to tell is if your physician is able to find "Kayser-Fleisher rings" in the corneas of your eyes. The current drug of choice is oral penicillamin which causes the excretion of chelated copper which continues indefinitely.
Best of luck to you. Consult your Primary care physician.
