what would cause carbonated beverages to have a metalic taste, i am not taking any new medication, just topamax for migranes.
Answers:
It is the topamax that you take it is the carbonation in the pops that make it taste that way. When I started taking topamax I had to stop drinking all carbonation drinks because of that. You should look up Topamax side effects sometime good stuff there. : )

it is from the can or it could be the breaking down of the carbonation too. It might be old and u shouldn't drink it!
Are you buying them in a can, bottle, or fountain soda? I find that those in can have the metallic taste and I try not to buy them, prefer bottled or, my favorite, fountain drinks.
