what is the side effect of treating heart failure with viagra. what is the benefit?
Question:
Answers:
Just to inform you that Viagra is more often used in pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs) than it is in heart failure. Some studies now starting to suggest it may be helpful in heart failure as well. This is a difficult topic, hinging on the severity of CHF, other drugs on board, etc. Major side effect is severe hypotension (low blood pressure). I don't hesitate to answer simple medical questions on this forum, but this one really requires doctor's guidance.

The side effect and benefit are the same, no?
there have been several studies done where viagra has been used to treat heart conditions in "women"..although these are still only studies and are on going you may want to contact "medicine awareness/alert.com" for further information.
