Are padded bras bad for a girl who's developing her chest? If so, what type of bra should she wear?

I don't think it makes much of a difference; it's personal preference and whatever the girl is comfortable in.

My 11 yr old daughter wears the little shelf bras and sports bras when playing sports. She will also wear cami's with built-in bras.

I would just stay away from anything that feels uncomfortable. Young girls do not need to wear underwire bras or extremely padded bras - it will not creat cleavage when there is nothing there.

Ask your Mom! She is probably just waiting to help you.
