I have to wear a mobile eeg machine and I am wearing it for the next three days and I have a office job. Do you think i should go to work and risk all the stares and talk about wires coming out of my head and chest??

Yes, definately. You must go to work. I don't know your work enviornment but, it would surprise me if the support you receive from some didn't far outweigh any of the negatives you have mentioned.

More than any other reason, though, Sitting at home with all that time to contemplate your condition can be torture. I had a similar experience and it was a weekend. Absolutely the lomgest 3 days of my life.

Do you really care if people stare ? Opinions are even all day every day, Why take other views or "stare to heart" .You still have bills and the electric company or rent don't care you lost income ! Unless your boss ( in writing ) offers you paid off .Go to work .If you have paid sick days , considering the important of a brain tumor , stay home and relax .Don't make changes around others for them ! They have their own issues .We do live in a over speaking world . Get the who cares attitude. Best wishes to you.

if u can take the time off, then do. because you're absolutely right. people will definitely be asking you questions all day. you have enough stress as it is without having to tell your story 20 times to 20 different people!
