No need to. As long as you get the prescription filled, it does not matter what the colour is. The prescription will be the same whether they are clear or coloured.

YES! Not every brand of contacts comes in colors and each brand fits differently. If your doctor fits you with one lens and then you tell him/her that you want colors, he/she may have to refit you in a different lens. It ends up wasting time and possibly your money.
