no one uses wax anymore, a least no one with any class. Unless you live in the projects maybe.

People still use wax nowadays, its just technically called Pomade. You can get some different kinds, some more sticky, some more wax based. If you have short hare just take a small amount and rub it in your fingers and then apply to damp hair. Use your fingers to mess up your hair and then style as you like. I would not suggest using a comb/brush cause then you will have that 50-70s greaser look.

if your hair is short, its good to just add a little at the ends. you can spike it a little to make it a little edgier. you can also use wax when doing braids to prevent the fuzzing and to make them last a lot longer.
